Malcolm Marshall was raised in inner-city Dallas, though his roots trace back to Las Vegas. Not growing up in a Christian home, he experienced early family challenges that shaped his deep passion for building Christ-centered families.
Malcolm came to faith in Christ during his sophomore year at Stephen F. Austin State University and later responded to God’s call into full-time ministry.
Over the years, Malcolm has served in a variety of ministry roles, including youth pastor, Bible teacher, chaplain, and community outreach leader, ministering across churches, prisons, schools, and conferences around the world. He currently serves as Campus Pastor of Houston's First Baptist Church - Sienna, where he focuses on shepherding the congregation and developing leaders. Malcolm is also known for communicating the Gospel through music as the Christian hip-hop artist Excelsius.
Malcolm is married to Stacey, and they have three children: Jay, Madison, and Sydney.
