Metro is a weekly gathering in Houston where young adults in their 20s and 30s come together to worship Jesus, study Scripture, and grow in authentic community. Meeting on Tuesday nights at 7:30p, Metro exists to help young adults see the beauty of Jesus and seek to know him personally.
Founded in 1994, Metro began as a simple vision: to create a space where young adults across the city could connect with God and one another. Over the years, that vision has drawn thousands and continues today with the same heart - “From Houston // For Houston” - believing God is actively at work in this generation.
At its core, Metro is centered on the gospel, the good news that salvation comes by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, and is committed to the authority of the Bible as God’s Word. Everything it does is shaped by five core values: humility, authenticity, a family-minded culture, compassion, and excellence in serving God.
Metro is also fueled by a dedicated volunteer community that helps create a welcoming, Christ-centered environment each week. Through worship, teaching, and meaningful relationships, Metro aims to equip young adults to walk with Jesus faithfully in every season of life.
