At Houston’s First, our Men’s Ministry — Band of Brothers — exists to forge that kind of man. Through God’s Word, authentic community, and opportunities to lead and serve, we are becoming more than just good men — we are becoming godly men who reflect the image of Christ in every sphere of life.

Band of Brothers is dedicated to “transforming men into the image of Jesus Christ.” We strive to accomplish this by offering a variety of entry points and opportunities for men to grow spiritually, physically, and relationally with other men—and to engage in various levels of service at Houston’s First, in the community, and around the world.

We offer several weekly Bible studies including Men’s Morning Study, which includes live teaching, table group discussion, and strong accountability. Additional studies and groups meet throughout the week across Houston.

Men:Serve is a hands-on, boots-on-the-ground team of men who meet practical needs for the widows of Houston’s First. We deploy across Houston to tackle yard work, household repairs and updates to make life a little more comfortable. It’s a chance to serve shoulder-to-shoulder with other men and be the hands and feet of Jesus.

Not at all. Most men come here looking for something real. Whether you’re joining a Bible study, a Grow Group, or a service project, we keep it honest, focused, and grounded in purpose—not fluff.

Any man over the age of 18 is welcome, regardless of church membership status. You’re welcome to join us at any study, event, or service opportunity regardless of your membership status.
